이전 격리 절차 열람하기

설명: SCP-430-KO는 외형상 30대로 추정되는 한국계 남성(이하 SCP-430-KO-A)과 그의 가면(이하 SCP-430-KO-B)을 총칭한다. SCP-430-KO-A와 SCP-430-KO-B는 서로 분리 가능하나, SCP-430-KO-A가 SCP-430-KO-B를 장착하고 있을 경우 해당 개체들의 변칙성이 대폭 증가하는 것으로 추정된다.

SCP-430-KO-A는 외모, 말투 등 전반적인 특징이 변칙예술학부 부장인 풍소경 박사와 매우 흡사하다. SCP-430-KO-A의 과거 정보를 얻으려는 모든 시도가 실패함에 따라 이 유사성이 SCP-430-KO-A이 변칙성을 얻기 이전부터 있었는지, 아니면 현재와 같은 변칙성을 얻은 이후 SCP-430-KO-A가 의도적으로 풍소경 박사를 모방한 것인지는 불명이다.

대상은 스스로를 소속 불명의 변칙예술가라고 주장하며, 실제 행동 또한 변칙예술가, 특히 Are We Cool Yet?의 과격파와 유사하다. SCP-430-KO는 다른 변칙예술가들을 목표물로 접근하여 일련의 변칙적인 작업을 수행하는데 해당 작업은 다음과 같은 과정을 따른다.

1. SCP-430-KO-A가 목표물에게 편지를 보낸다. 편지의 내용은 수신자마다 상이하나 수신자의 예술 작품을 찬양하는 내용이 적혀 있다.

2. 편지가 착신된 이후 SCP-430-KO-A는 24시간 이내에 목표물에 접근한다. SCP-430-KO-A가 목표물에게 10m 이내에 접근하면 목표물은 의식을 잃고 움직일 수 없게 된다. 이 고정된 상태는 SCP-430-KO-A가 목표물로부터 10m 이상 멀어지거나 목표물이 SCP-430-KO-C로 완전히 변이하기 전까지 유지된다.

3. SCP-430-KO-A가 목표물과 접촉하면 대상의 흉부 부분에 구멍이 생긴다. 이 구멍은 대상의 신체에 피해를 주지 않으며 고정된 상태가 해제될 시 소멸한다. SCP-430-KO-A는 이 구멍을 실로 꿰멘 뒤 즉시 사라진다.1 이렇게 변화한 인원은 이후로 SCP-430-KO-C라고 칭한다.

SCP-430-KO-A가 동시에 두 명 이상의 목표물을 지정하거나 한 번에 두 명 이상의 인물을 SCP-430-KO-C로 변화시킨 사례는 발견되지 않았다. 만약 SCP-430-KO-A가 목표물을 공격하는 도중에 제3자가 방해한다면 SCP-430-KO는 최소한의 자기 방어나 도주 등 소극적인 태도만을 보였는데, 이를 통해 추정했을 때 SCP-430-KO-A의 전투 능력 자체는 상당히 떨어지는 것으로 보인다. 또한 이 과정에서 실을 꿰매는 작업이 늦어지면서 목표물을 SCP-430-KO-C로 변화시키는 속도 또한 늦춰지므로 SCP-430-KO-A를 협박, 공격해 작업을 방해하는 것은 권장된다.

SCP-430-KO-A은 스스로의 변칙성을 조절할 수 있으며 변칙 예술가 외의 인물을 SCP-430-KO-C로 변이시킨 사례는 재단에 격리된 후 격리 실패를 일으켰을 때 외에는 확인되지 않았다. 또한 이런 예외 사례를 보아 상기한 작업 절차 중 1번 절차 자체는 변칙성에 영향을 주지 않으며, 단순히 SCP-430-KO-A의 행위 예술이라는 것이 확인되었다.

SCP-430-KO-C는 겉보기에는 변이 이전과 차이가 없어보이나 흉부에 꿰맨 자국이 선명하게 남아 있다. SCP-430-KO-C에게는 생리적인 현상이 일어나지 않으며 자아 또한 소실되었기 때문에 대화하려는 시도는 실패로 돌아갔다. SCP-430-KO-C는 변이 이전에 즐겨 했던 행동을 되풀이하며 희생자의 특성상 이 행동은 대개 아무 것도 없는 곳을 쇠를 두들기듯이 두들기거나 허공에 조각칼을 휘두르는 등 변칙 예술 작품을 만들려는 시도로 이어진다. 흉부를 꿰맨 실을 절단할 시 대상은 활동을 정지하며 현재 SCP-430-KO-C를 변이 이전 상태로 되돌리거나 활동을 정지한 SCP-430-KO-C를 재활성화시킬 방법은 불명이다.

SCP-430-KO-B의 착용자는 국소적인 현실 조작 변칙성을 갖는다. SCP-430-KO-A 자체의 변칙성을 제외한 것, 즉 그 동안의 격리에 난항을 준 순간이동 능력 및 목표물의 위치를 특정하고 편지를 발송하는 등의 변칙성은 SCP-430-KO-B가 원인인 것으로 추정된다. SCP-430-KO-A가 아닌 사람이 SCP-430-KO-B를 착용할 경우 극도의 두통과 메스꺼움, 환각을 느끼며 이는 곧 착용자가 정신적 이상을 얻는 것으로 이어진다. 특이한 점은 SCP-430-KO-A가 SCP-430-KO-B를 착용했을 당시 SCP-430-KO-B로 인해 증감하는 흄 수치 수준에 비해 대상이 실제로 현실을 조작한 정도는 극히 미미한 수준이었는데, 이것이 SCP-430-KO-A가 단순히 그 이상으로 현실 조작 능력을 사용하려고 하지 않았던 것인지 아니면 다른 이유가 있어서인지는 조사 중이다.
